Train Simulator: New Haven E-33 Loco Add-On Ativador Download [serial Number]

Updated: Dec 8, 2020

About This Content Built by General Electric in the 1950s to haul coal for the Virginian Railway, a group of 3,300-horsepower ignitron rectifier electrics were purchased second-hand in 1963 by the New Haven Railroad to haul tonnage between New York City and New Haven, Connecticut. Now, these powerful electrics – designated EF-4s by the NYNH&H – are ready for Train Simulator duty. The ignitron rectifier electrics (often called GE E-33s) were purchased by the New Haven to restore electric freight operations on the railroad’s New Haven – New York City route. Weighing in at 394,000 and provided 98,500 lbs. of tractive effort, the road-switcher-style electrics were assigned road numbers 300-310 and dressed in a flashy New Haven vermillion, white, and black livery. On the NYNH&H, the six-axle (C-C) GE locomotives assumed virtually all mainline freight operations across the railroad’s electrified territory, working between Cedar Hill Yard in New Haven, Oak Point Yard in the Bronx, and Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge Yard. Although they had been constructed as heavy haulers, the electrics were also capable of quick running, being geared for a 65-mph top speed. By virtually all accounts, the EF-4s served the New Haven well and were a welcomed assignment by the road crews. Following the New Haven’s merger into Penn Central, the electrics served PC and eventually Conrail before being retired in 1981.Created in extraordinary detail by Partner Programme developer Reppo, the NYNH&H EF-4 for Train Simulator faithfully recaptures the features and operating characteristics of this distinctive electric locomotive. The EF-4 is provided in both “running” and “cold and dark” variations, the latter featuring a realistic, multi-step start-up process. To provide period-appropriate equipment to accompany the EF-4, the pack also includes a 40-foot New Haven boxcar in familiar orange livery, NYNH&H’s classic NE-5 steel cupola caboose, and, for AI use, a New Haven Electro-Motive GP9. And the pack also includes four career scenarios for the NEC: New York – New Haven route which represents much of the ex-New Haven mainline trackage over which the distinctive and iconic rectifier electrics operated.Included ScenariosThe New Haven E-33 Loco Add-on includes four challenging career scenarios for the NEC: New York – New Haven Route Add-On:[GE E33 C&D] New Canaan Lone Rider[GE E33 C&D] Stamford Trash[GE E33] Heavy Maintenance Train[GE E33] Mixed Freight to BridgeportPlease Note: The NEC: New York – New Haven Route Add-On is required, as a separate purchase, in order to play the scenarios featured in this add-on.More scenarios are available on Steam Workshop online and in-game. So many details, ''everything'' works. It took some time before I understood how to get this locomotive started and getting the braking system to work smoothly, I really had to sit down and learn a couple of technical things about it, which is something I expect of a Pro Range loco. Thank you for developing this! 10\/10. Awesome stuff!. This Locomotive is a joy to dive, Reppo have outdone themselves again.the E-33\/EF-4 is excellently modelled and wonderfully textured, and complex with its controls.however there is one glaring problem with the sounds with this addon.the sound of the wheel flanges and rail clacks are the same annoying screech and bangs from the wood-head Class 76&77and the regenerative braking is also reused and sounds so week for a big and hefty locomotive.another annoyance form this add on, (this does not detract form the actual quality of the loco), is it only comes in the New haven paint scheme, when the E-33 also supported Conrail and Pen Central paint schemes on the NEC. (and the Virginian, but with no route to represent this scheme, its not needed). This is a great pack and a welcome addition to TS. There are great sounds and cold start operations that are a bit more in depth than most other Pro series DLCs for TS. You will definitely want to read the included documentation with this before operating or you may have some early frustrations as others have expressed in their reviews as they could not get the loco to move. The sounds are fantastic and will suck you into running this beast. Everything from the sound of the pan hitting the caternary after hand pumping it to make contact, the horns, and the deep hum of this large loco is fantastic. It is well worth regular price.. (and the Virginian, but with no route to represent this scheme, its not needed). It will take some time to grasp how to drive this loco. But it is well done. I like the manual pump for the patopraph, the manual setup procedure en the nivce sounds. No idea if this is realistic.... For full price it is quite alot of money, but at a discount it is nice, especially if you bought the Springfiled line. Scenarios are for New York to New haven line, though it does not fit too well in the modern era.. I enjoy operating the New Haven E-33 locomotive but I am having trouble starting the locomotive on the cold and darkscenarios.. Pros Realistic start up and shutdownAccurate soundsGood texturesHas a short blast and long blast button ( space bar for long blast and c for short blast )ATC system can be turned on or offCab is extremely detailed ( including a cabnit that you can open or close and use the breaker switches )Cab also has a room for the nose of the engineHas a button to flush the toilet in the nose of the engineConsNo tutorial, but it gets easier once you know how to start it.And if you don't know how to get the train moving, you hold the "stop run reset" switch on reset until the light next to it lights up, then you can drive it. said switch is right next to the light switches.. Thank you for performing the one and only GE E-33!The loco is perfectly modeled and aged outside. The cabview is awesome (4 cams) - very detailled and perfectly aged. There are much more working levers and instruments - comparing with a modern computerized loco. This technical cab seems authentically from the fifties - fantastic - but not so easy to handle. When you want to drive the E-33, you really have to study the manual - it is even a nice reproduction of the original General Electric E-33 Operating Manual! Here I found the secrets, to move the loco: especially read the advices for the Control Switch (page 29) and the Automatic Brake Valve (page 13,14).The sounds seem authentic to me.I'm very happy with this New Haven E-33! I'm looking forward to more fallen flag liveries of the E-33: Virginian, N&W, Penn Central, Conrail.. great engine I just can't get it to move.
